Geologist from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), Master in Geology from
UFBA and PhD in Geochemistry from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF),
Brazil. Is currently Director of the Institute of Geosciences (IGEO)/UFBA in her
second term. Full Professor at the Dept. of Geophysics and Member of the
Graduate Program in Geochemistry: Oil and the Environment
(POSPETRO)/UFBA. Coordinator of Research Projects and Author of numerous
indexed scientific articles. Leader of the Research Group “Petroleum and
Sustainable Development (PETRODES)”. Member of the Management
Committee of PRH/ANP 36. Has experience in Geosciences, with emphasis on
Environmental Geochemistry, working on the following topics: Petroleum
Geology, Petroleum Geochemistry, Forensic Geosciences and Geochemical
Monitoring. Awarded with the Honorary Title “Amiga da Marinha – Navy Friend”
in 2020.
