Roldan Muradian has extensive experience in international research, capacity building, teaching and
cooperation in higher education, in a broad range of subjects dealing with the interface between
development, governance and the environment. Dr. Muradian has more than 80 international
publications, as well as outstanding skills in fund raising and management of research and capacity
building activities. He has been involved, as coordinator or co-investigator, in a large number of
international and multidisciplinary projects in about 20 countries. He is currently the President of the
International Society for Ecological Economics.
